She is presently an Academic Intervention Specialist with the School District of Hillsborough County, Florida. She earned a B.A. degree from the University of South Florida in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, a M.S. degree in English and an Educational Specialist degree in Reading (Ed. S.) from Nova Southeastern University. Her education plus her 28 years as a teacher has given her first hand knowledge of what children really need to know to ensure they are successful in school and in life.
